I'm still trying to come to terms with this childs horrific death, it's probably the most revolting thing I've has the misfortune to read.
If ever there was a case for a return of the death penalty, this to me is it. Yet the British tax payer will put a roof over their heads and give them three meals a day for the next 20 years plus.
What right do they have to any human rights ruling? Also they will be given extra protection from other prisoners, I'm not a vindictive person, but I sincerely hope prison staff will turn a blind eye to any prisoner attacks on them.
They starved poisoned and beat this child to death over a period of months. So pitiful to hear recordings of him crying. pleading to be fed and loved. being made to stand in a corner for 14 hours with no food or drink.
Then we have our Social Services, who again are taking tax payers money as wages to do a job they are incapable of doing. They were given evidence of heavy bruising by family members, but concluded it was a happy family situation.
The family members, not happy with the Social Services findings produced the evidence to the Police, who in turn replied that they would not be getting involved as the situation was in the hands of the Social Services.
Heads should roll in both S/Services and Police Depts. and I don't mean reprimands, but dismissals. if they did the job they were paid to do little Arthur may still be alive now. R. I. P. Arthur, you really deserve to.
It amazes me that all this cruel evidence can be dug up after his death and not before.
Maybe in cases like this a doctor should attend the complaint along with the S/Services officers, who obviously don't have a clue what they are looking for and are prepared to take the word of parents or guardians at face value.
