So "Rocky" Mesa has finally gone - yet another example of some crass transfer dealings by the club. It's not Mesa's fault; he was a good player who just didn't fit. But why the Hell did we buy him then? The club knew the type of player he was but Clement appeared not to rate him from day one. It's another case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing! Mesa can obviously play otherwise Sevilla wouldn't want him: and I believe that when @Yankee_Jack visited the Nou Camp they were singing his praises there. As far as I'm concerned, if the people at Barca rate him that's good enough for me. Anyway, here's the link:

I liked rocky.... He looked like he could play.
He tried to make up for other players inadequacies but ultimately failed. Shame really as I thought he was the replacement for Leon we needed. Shame no one in charge seemed to want Leon or a player like him. Bet potter would have utilised him well.

@ivoralljack ... correct. People I talked to there were impressed by his performances for Las Palmas before he transferred to us. As you said Sevilla are not going to sign somebody that doesn't contribute to the level at which they play.
