Blackpool , struggling and bottom of the league are our midweek opposition, will we suffer yet another catastrophic defeat or will we salvage some pride and gain a point or three ?
If we don't win this one Martin has to go , immediately, no excuses will suffice, only 3 points will do .
No faffing about , give Whitaker a start outside Piroe and Cullen and let's have a goal fest (or a few efforts on target at least )
COYJB It's been so long since you made me smile so stick some rock up the seasiders arse and give us something to shout about!

Blackpool are not Sheff. United, so, sure, it's going to be 3 points for us.
If it's anything other than three points then surely Martin has to go? His recent record is so bad he could well have been sacked already and there are several teams who'd have dispensed with his services but he lucked out with us. By that I mean our owners don't really give a shit about the team and, had they any real ambition of promotion, there's no way they'd have been satisfied with what he's delivered lately in terms of results.

Here's a conspiracy theory for you: Club decided Martin is no longer fit for their purpose; have no clear substitute on hand; told him so in case their search for a replacement leaked and became public; kept him on until the end of the season, figuring / hoping that it couldn't get any worse and we could limp along at a point per game and be safe.

Crazy, but nothing else makes sense.

Blackpool have everything to fight for. There's no fat lady yet. A win against us and they could bounce above Cardiff, Wigan and Huddersfield. It's all to play for. Let's face it, the recipe to beat us is not rocket science. There are hours of video over the last 10 weeks to illustrate how.

3 points should be ours, Yes, but the No could easily swing it. The next 90 minutes are crucial. I have zero confidence of anything.

There are 8 games before the international break; 5 at home.

If we repeat the results from the aberration period earlier in the season and the likes of Millwall and Watford and those below them earn no more than 50% of available points, then we can creep into the play-off positions.

The reality of this is that it is highly unlikely.

On another note, the U-21 tied Cardiff 2-2 yesterday. The same experience befell the U-21. By all accounts and the highlight video, this was a game they should have won going away. After taking an early lead and squandering copious opportunities, they fell behind 1-2 and had to come back to draw late in the game.

Alfie Mawson retired at age 29 due to injury. I remember we wanted £50 million for him and settled for £20. I had no idea he was 0layojg for Wycombe. He seemed to have so much potential then injuries derailed his career.

Already bought mine and, internet allowing, will watch this and Arsenal v Manchester City at the same time on Amazon Prime. I'll also be posting here. Who said that men can't multi-task? :ROFLMAO:

Will be expecting a comfortable win by 2/3 goals. Anything less than a win I'll be expecting Martin's resignation.

Switch to 3+2

Darling is back. Sorinola and Manning are the WBs.

Cullen is on the bench ... our most efficient goal scorer ... great decision there. Piroe is #9 with Cundle and Cooper behind.

Naughton not on the bench.
