WILL WE CUT OURSELVES ON THE BLADES ?

Tuesday night sees the restart of the football program with a visit from the table topping Sheffield Utd.

They are scoring goals for fun and unless we stop our suicidal play at the back we will have another home defeat , they do concede a few goals though so maybe we will have chances of our own .
COYJB , time for a decent home showing against good opposition.

We seem to have been finding a little rhythm to our play recently with improved performances. Perhaps Martin has finally got the message. If the team continues the improvement against Blades I fancy us to get something. It's a BIG 'if' though.

They are, just like us, a team that creates a lot of good chances and at the same time concedes a lot of high quality ones. But that's where all similarity ends. While we can't score from the chances we create they score plenty of goals. Also, we have conceded 11 and they have conceded only 5 goals. Difficult to predict this one because we improved defensively against QPR.

Just in case anyone has missed it, tonight's game can be streamed live via the Swan's web site at the usual price of a tenner.

McB starts for the Blades. .Let’s hope we don’t let him isolate Naughton in the box or it will be all over before we know it

Actually, I have complains. Martin is obviously going back to his suicidal 3-4-2-1 with Naughts in the middle of the back three, Manning and Sorinola as wing backs, Grimes and Allen as pivots in the defensive midfield, and finally Fulton and Cooper as attacking midfielders behind Piroe.

The rumours swirling around Oba is he's unhappy about the failed Burnley move. Hopefully he comes back around, he's done it before so has Paterson. I'm afraid we go down early in this one and bring Paterson on to catch up too late.
