Apart from that taken by Lewendowski. But you're quite correct; that crap penalty by James cost us the game tonight. But it was Page and his tactics and results in previous games that brought us here. Losing 2-4 at home to Azerbaijan was nothing short of criminal. I'd have a drink with Robert Page at any time as he seems a right decent guy but manage my football team? NEVER!! I hope we now look for a manager with something better than Port Vale and Northampton Town on his CV.

Didn't see that one, lost my stream for a moment. But all others were high.
It bordered on illegal actually as you're not allowed to stop in the run up. As many do these days he stuttered in his run up to a large degree. Mind you, he's that good he'd probably have scored from a re-take anyway. And all the other Poland pens were excellent as you say.

It's a shame Page wasted his last sub with the Broadhead - Brooks switch. If he'd waited until a minute before the end he could have put another penalty taker on in place of a defender. The Mepham red was the perfect opportunity, less than a minute remaining. Or even just kept Brooks on, I'd have fancied him over James as a taker.

Thanks for the ride,Cymru, it was fun. By the end of the campaign we have quite a tasty, entertaining unit.
This is just luck because, allegedly, the manager is clueless.

My take is that he's a very good man manager who's extremely popular with his players. I get that because I like him too as a bloke. As he's so well liked by the players I believe that they overlook his shortcomings as a manager and tend to do their own thing out on the pitch paying very general regard to the tactical approach devised by Page and his coaches. Let's face it, when he started, the senior players all had far more top flight experience than he did, which is a ridiculous state of affairs. I'd love to see what our present team could do under an experienced international coach and I'm guessing that we'd be pleasantly surprised.
