Two days to go

Terrible 'music' on the first video. It's interesting to see the difference between scored goals before Gallagher & and Brewster came to Swansea, and after their arrival. Before they arrived the vast majority of goals we scored were headed goals, and after from open play.

SHOULD have been 5 or 6 though even though the performance wasn't great for much of the game. Defence played well; strikers took their chances in the main but midfield again couldn't hold the ball as it kept coming back. The first 30 minutes from us was superb. :)

I saw the game differently on the stream so presumed you were listening to the boo boys on radio Wales!
I thought my post was a pretty fair reflection of the game, Bos. We were great for the first 30 minutes then Boro took the initiative, although they failed to capitalise on it due to some resilient defending. But I WAS disappointed with our midfield again because they couldn't keep the ball, which allowed Boro to apply a lot of pressure. Look at the corners they won. A better team might well have done better with them. Of course one has to make allowances for first game back etc but that applies to all teams. The midfield is the engine and, apart from the first 30 minutes, ours stuttered today. No matter because it was a great 3 points that will do our confidence a world of good.

Totally agree with you about Radio Wales, we aren't their favourites by a long way although Ian Walsh does his best for us as a rule.

Yes, let them back into the game big time in the last twenty mins.

I think most are happy with the result if not the 90 minute performance.
'boro are among the lesser teams in this league at the moment, and proved to be just that in the first half. Substitutions by Cooper let them into the game in the second half, withdrawing our strike force and attempting to contain them in midfield, didn't work, 'boro came back at us in the final 30 mins. putting us under unnecessary pressure.Lesson to be learned there, Maybe Leon's departure had something to do with our midfield performance ??.
