Swansea v Wigan.

It was a nice side footed shot in front of the keeper that could have easily been off target. Very nice goal for Brewster. Brewster and Gallagher are showing good fitness chasing the ball. That is something we need to work on. I hope they don't decline here.

Celina and Ayew need to help out their fullbacks. Way too exposed on the flanks.

It seems like they don't think they need to play on defense today. Not showing Wigan any respect.

Decent first half, need some more composure but chances are there.

Results elsewhere are in our favour so 3 points is a must today.

Comms saying that Wigan are good with the ball but crap without it: that Swans have been very poor for the last 20 minutes and that Wigan have been as good as us. They say that our transition is poor without support for the man on the ball. Afraid to venture too far upfield because of fitness issues? (My suggestion) That's often the case when players fear their inability to get back if a move breaks down. Ian Walsh reckons that since our goal Wigan HAVE PLAYED THE BETTER FOOTBALL. They are bottom but one ffs!! That is NOT good enough, Steve Cooper.

That would have been a good way to finish the half. Paul Cook is going to emphasize the counter attack. We're very slow to get back in formation to defend. Wigan have a goal in them still so we better get 2.

That's because Gallagher often drifts to the left flank together with Celina and leaves a big hole with Byers alone in the midfield. We should be more compact in the midfield.

You can see it with Gallagher from Charlton and Brewster from Liverpool they are chasing the ball all over the pitch. Brewster chases misplaced long balls all the way to the corner. If these 2 train with us for a month are they going to lose their form.
