Bidwell had a great game, Ayew works himself into the ground but I don't think he's really into it. Very muted celebrations for all of the goals and barely looked up after the final whistle blew.

As for Borja, continue like this and we'll be saying "McBurnie who?" very shortly. He's got the quality and finally he's showing it. Really pleased for him as he never got a chance until now.

This tells me a lot and I hope it's doing the same to Trevor Birch and the decision makers. Sure, offloading the big earners would ease our financial woes but, if we had owners with bottle and foresight, wouldn't the prospect of regaining Premier League status with its attendant riches, be an even more attractive proposition?

This is what I've been thinking if they are so worried about the books then I would go all out to get into the Premier League. It's basically a lottery. The lowest teams are getting £100 million in TV rights payments.
