Linesman wasn't even up with play , piss poor officiating .
I'm 99% convinced, but it wouldn't surprise me even if VAR were used to find this was one of those "offside by an inch of armpit" calls. I would love to see the offside rule changed so there has to be clear space between the attacker and defender, rather than being in (an invisible) line. I know that would mean a lot more goals, but it's meant to be entertainment after all, isn't it?
I've always maintained that the feet should dictate the lines that are drawn and no other part of the body. It simplifies things and everybody would know where they are with the rule.
