Cullen must be #10
Radio comms mentioned this - said Cullen grew up as an instinctive goal-scorer but latterly, wanting to be more involved, doesn't mind playing as a #10, for which they reckon he has the ability. I think it's because he just wasn't getting the service he thrives on as a dedicated striker. He's not a bad 10 but it's not his strength - he's a finisher. If Ronald can keep supplying crosses I'd still play Culls up front.

Here we go again. Mackems been getting well back into the game and just scored. Now it's backs to the wall to try and salvage points from a game we should have had done and dusted at half time. When will we realise that football is a 90+ minutes game? And Cullen subbed as usual.

That was a nervy 2nd half, fitness levels dropped and we couldn't keep the tempo up. Been waiting for them to show the ability we saw in the 1st half. Ronald gets his goal, confidence will return.

Tough 2nd half. Too much to ask for a repeat of the first half. Sunderland adjusted. We ran out of energy. But, we hang in here. Solid to the end.

Could this be the end of the beginning for Williams. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. There’s a highly functional starting XI. Ronald was immense as was Allen. Cullen did his job at #9. PP was good too.
