Stoke City

Live on Sky Arena this evening. Stoke much better outfit this season than last, so I'm expecting a tough game. Cooper will have to rotate his squad given the congested run of fixtures to come before the next international break - and we have some hard games in there against Blackburn, Brentford and Norwich.

A win tonight will be vital to offset the likely dropping of some points against those teams, all of whom look as though they will be in contention at the end of the season. I envisage a hard game against Stoke and I'm hoping we edge it. I'm going for 2-1 (bent or stupid officials allowing).

Bidwell and Roberts need some rest, Smith has to be benched as a punishment for his last performace.
Manning and Naughton as wing-backs, Fulton in central midfield. Lowe, Gyokeres and Ayew up front. 3-4-3.

Or Ayew as ATM, Vic and Lowe up front.

Dhanda starts in #10 role.

Cabango is benched for Naughton.

Smith is benched for Manning.

Bidwell is rested (can't possibly bench this guy otherwise) for Manning. Roberts starts.

Cooper should give Roberts some rest. Roberts played for Wales during the last international break. Why doesn't he play Naughton there? Cabango is a centre-back, and centre-backs can play every game.
