Let's hope that we now go on to better things. Sorry for Cullen but well pleased for Benda and young Cooper. Only heard part of the conversation on the radio and that was some fragments at the end but I got the impression that Obafemi wasn't playing for something relating to his possible transfer. Can that be right? Can anyone throw any further light on this?

The only possibility is a transfer to a country where the transfer window is still open. Apart from the Arab countries, only two other countries are a possible transfer destination - Belgium and Turkey.

Benda was awesome yesterday. He makes Fisher's performances look like those times when an outfield player has to go in goal in the middle of a game. I hope Martin is sticking with him and not just using him to "send a message", because the message should be clear - Benda is #1.

And was. RM says he got caught up in Park Run yesterday morning and how loads of runners wished him good luck as they overtook him. I expect quite a few expressed their views on Fisher and the suicidal goal kick routine!

What you saw yesterday with Benda was the distribution of a top midfield player, the technique, reflexes and refusal to be beat of a top keeper, the calmness of a true leader. We need leaders on the field. We added another through Cooper, what a terrific performance, QPR had no answer to him in the first half. Coopers work, persistence and desire created Piroe’s goal and showed others the level that they all need to perform at.

very happy in a long while at what I saw. I see a way onward and upward with this set of players in this setup.
