Preston v Swans.

I thought a point away against Preston was decent enough but what did you guys think? Did we deserve it? Deserve more? Less? Didn't see hear anything of the game today, so would be interested to know. How did the new guys go as well?

It's decent, but should have gotten 3. If they want to get in the playoffs they will need to start winning.

We deserved the point and really should have got three. Some slick passing but as usual didn't come to much in the final third. Good solid defense. As to new guys, Gallagher was disappointingly quiet and didn't show as much as he did at the start of the Stoke game. Brewster showed he can put himself about but he didn't get a lot of service and when he did it was more often from Ayew (who assisted his goal) than Celina - a potential good partnership forming there. Guehi had a shaky start and was partly responsible (again) for their goal (gave Sinclair too much space) but bedded down well and played a good second half.

Rodon was probably our best player (along with Ayew, of course) and didn't seem to need any time at all to knock off the cobwebs. Celina had a couple of moments of creativity which he promptly cancelled out with wasteful play and he needs to be shot for his failure to score when he was clear in the penalty area from a beautiful through ball to him from Ayew. Aftet not getting the three points I would guess Gallagher was the biggest disappointment for me today.
