I will do Andy Pandy a after match comments for him.
We played well we did not deserve to lose.
I made substitutions but they made no difference. We worked hard in training and thought we could get something out of this game. ........

Preston are going well and this will be a very tough game for us. Bidwell says that we will 'bounce back'. We shall see. No one covered themselves with glory against Stoke and certainly not Cooper. I want to see some tangible evidence that he knows what he's doing....... or at least some definitive steps in that direction. How should that translate? Well, I want to see an energetic TEAM effort from first whistle to last. I want to see the midfield create some decent chances for Brewster who was starved of them at Stoke. I want to see the midfield competing and winning their personal battles. I want to see us passing the ball and retaining possession as befits a Swansea City team. I want to see Cooper being proactive during the game and not reactive and I would like to see some substitutions that make sense!! Not asking for much am I?

Unfortunately, I think I am. I just get the sense that Cooper just hasn't got the experience to deliver what we need. He now has the tools but he has to show that he knows how to use them and, thus far, he has been found wanting - a bit like handing the keys of a Ferrari to my Aunt Gladys and expecting her to extract maximum performance from it. Not that I think our team is 'Ferrari-Like' but I'm sure you get my drift. Mind you, I'm not at all sure that Leon or Trevor Birch do given what I've been watching this season.

Still, there's a possibility that things might yet click and we'll finish the season with a bang. Can't put into words how much I want that to happen.

Toys but no idea how to play with them. AP is hoping for the same miracle at the U17 World Cup ... the team won despite him. If we get promoted it will be the same deal ... AP succeeds despite himself.

Big big game today. A must win if we are serious about the playoffs. I'm not convinced we'll get anything off the Stoke showing. If we can play like we did the first 20 minutes of Stoke for 90 then we may get a win but I'm not convinced.

As a guide, for the last 6 games Preston are 11th in the form league and we are 14th, so we need to buck the trend to get anything. Btw, Cardiff are 9th in that table!

Really wished we got a defensive midfielder in this window. Byers and Grimes just don't cut it when we're under pressure. Good to see Naughts back but Bidwell is blegh.

Grimes is a creative midfielder, should be playing further up front together with Gallagher. He has as many key passes per game and as many assists as Celina.

Fulton/Wilmot can play in the defensive midfield.

Cabango v. Guehi

Cabango comes in at a desperate point and plays a series of games as perfectly as a 19 year old can. Is dropped to the bench.
guehi makes a howler leading to a goal in his first game and starts again.

AP favors his toys and fuck everyone else. Asshole.

The last match in August against PNE had lucky goals by Roberts and Ayew somehow we won 3-2. But we were chasing Preston for much of that match.
