Woolmer is a totally shit referee with no consistency in what he lets go and a severe case of small man syndrome.
As I started dinner listening to the game we went one up. Before I finished dinner we were one DOWN! 
Ian Walsh is positively raging about this shower of shit. He described our defending as schoolboy stuff, then it was silly and then ridiculous. He became incandescent when Stoke got their second. He said we were pathetic then said he meant pathetic as he repeated himself. He said Stoke are easily the better team and likely to score more unless we get a grip. And fast!!
I don't think the players want to do it for Martin any longer. They may do it for themselves whereby Martin gets some reflected glory but I think they don't feel that they can play martinball and Ian Walsh certainly and definitively stated that, from what he sees, they cannot.
Isn't anyone at the club marking Martin's card? What about our ex senior pros? Someone should be having a word and a fcuking strong one at that. The only consolation I get from this is that surely Martin must get his arse kicked out of the club sometime VERY soon if this carries on.

On the first goal, Manning went AWOL at the far post. He lost his man and made no challenge on the header back into the goal mouth.
Walsh being interiewed at half time was asked about his 'pathetic' comment and he said again that he meant it. He said that our defending was rubbish and ridiculous and again said it was schoolboy stuff. This is coming from an ex international who played for us in the old First Division and scored the goal at Wolves (I was there) that took us TOP of the division - at that stage we were the BEST team in the entire country.
Surely his comments have a great deal of merit? He knows the game and someone must be telling Martin that these, and similar comments from others, are being made. Half time presenter now asking Ian if he's calmed down yet, so we must have been bad.
By the way, during the game, when we were being roundly booed, he said that, if he hadn't been doing commentary, he'd have been booing too!!!!!!
