It seems that the news about Pedersen are nothing more than rumours. I've just read an article in the Cologne newspaper Kolner Stadt-Anzeiger and they say that Cologne FC have received no offers for Pedersen and that he will not be taking his medical in Swansea today. Which is good news because what they are saying about him is not a good read. He suffered a serious muscle injury last winter and is a third option for Cologne if he stays there. Not only is he behind a new 28-year-old left-back signed from St. Pauli, but he is also behind a 19-year-old youngster from the Cologne academy. Neither the Cologne manager nor the Cologne Stadt-Anzeiger think much of Pedersen, the latter even calling him "rustic", whatever that means. It is said that he is not very good at going forward, which is a big disadvantage for a full-back/wing-back.
