It will be confirmed later today that Morgan Whitaker has been sold to Plymouth Argyle for what is a record fee for the Pilgrims.

I wish him well at his new club, except for when he plays against us, I have no idea what the fee was, but money in will help our transfer kitty .

I think the driver in this is that Duff has seen more out of Josh Thomas than anticipated, more than he's seen from Whittaker, Thomas is cheaper/better, and Whittaker has takers for cash. And the new pets (Ginnelly and Yates), although not exactly visible in preseason yet, are expected to deliver more than Whittaker.
