We've had some great games against Forrest, but none better than winning the game that took us to Wembley. Darren Pratley's goal, picking up the ball in our own box from a Forrest error, took it up to the halfway line, being pursued by Forrest players, and right on the halfway line let one go right into the centre of the empty Forrest net. Making it a 3-1 score line, and with minutes left guaranteed our place in Wembley and then the Premiership.

Here's the game again and I still fcuking cheered when Pratley's goal went in. We were a bit under the cosh and what a relief for us all. Leon's goal was a beauty and Rodgers looked like he couldn't believe that Leon had actually scored a goal let alone one like that!! :ROFLMAO:

And let's not forget about Dobbs. I always had a lot of time for him and his goal was excellent in truth - a real striker's effort. Couple that with his great strike in the Final means we should never forget his contribution to our promotion. Thanks, Dobbs, you were great for us. Great music too.

Key Player
Dorus ... for all his weaknesses ... was not planted to his goal line. He was willing to come for a cross and get there. A much better keeper than the two we have.

On the topic of keepers ... Benda may now get a chance to show his worth.

The lads in training for Forest and seemed in good spirits. Be nice if they replicated the form they showed against Citeh tomorrow. :)

While the team is ok, our bench is so weak.
No game changers there, only decent player is Fulton.
Shows how shallow our talent pool is.

Been out in the car so listening on the radio. Sounds like we're easily the better team but our usual toothless selves in the final third. Yet again my commentator is far from impressed with the officials: anyone else of the same view?

Unable to get a stream on the game, but as you point out CJ the stats are impressive, and once again as you point out final third finishing is our downfall. The amount of games we've played with stats comparable to todays and lost are numerous.

Oli should've scored there.
I like Oli but he's just NOT a natural finisher. He's enthusiastic, tries hard and always puts in a shift but he does cost us points compared with a more technically gifted striker. As for his penalty kicks, they just suck!
