For those that ponied up for this debacle ... did the putrid colored shirts soften the blow or induce nausea and incontinence.

This team was a reflection of their manager - bland, listless, lacking ideas, no urgency and little pride in its performance. I can think of many managers where the players wouldn't DARE show as little as they did today against a well organised but very limited lower league team. The players didn't have a clue how to create anything worthwhile (Ayew excepted who always gives 100%) and our midfield couldn't unlock a door let alone a defence.

The trouble is, neither does our manager in terms of tactics and gameplan. He is so limited it's painful and what we watch is the net result of his so-called 'coaching'. I still don't see the level of fitness that is so vital in the professional game and, as for the basics such as pass and move, shooting etc, I have to wonder what the hell this lot actually DO in training.

Cullen might make a difference as a constant threat in opposing boxes but he will need service and support to get his goals. I suggest that the club invest in some dictionaries so Cooper and his midfield can do some required reading to understand what those words 'service' and support' mean.

Me thinks a change of managers or Div.1 here we come. We need someone who's Championship experienced, Cooper doesn't seem to have learned anything in his time with us. We've had good players going backwards. Quite honestly I'd even settle for Warnock right now.

Cooper: "In general terms we were second best today". Okay, Mr Cooper, the question we are all asking is, WHY?????

Here are some stats if you can bear to read them:

POSSESSION: 36-64 SHOTS: 12-10 OT: 5-1 CORNERS: 3-2 FOULS: 9-17 GOALS: 2-0

Note that they had MORE shots and far MORE on target than we did with far less possession and guess which team committed almost TWICE as many fouls as the other????? Steve Cooper, looking at those stats in conjunction with the overall standard of our play, is a shocking indictment of your ability as a manager. DON'T blame the players - if they don't have enough respect for you to turn in a better performance than that against lower level opposition then questions should be being asked in very loud voices at the Liberty.

Cooper has long looked like a November sacking
It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Neither would it upset me!

WTF is a "general term" ... from macro stats to individual output we plain tanked it.

We start the game with a line-up looking like a drunken sailor pulled it out of a hat ... but wait, there's Andy Pandy with the demeanor of a drugged up adult version of a 60's Watch-With-Mother puppet ... for those too young or so old you've forgotten see below ... Did Andy Pandy really approach this game like a training session fuck around, because that's what the line-up suggested. Then there's Woody ... now we've all see Tate in goal ... anybody not want to see Tate in goal again?

I hope the decision makers at the Liberty are aware of the fans' displeasure. I also hope that they are equally displeased.

Here’s his post match.

At minute 2:50, Andy Pandy is asked what he puts the performance down to .... his reply “I honestly don’t know”. An honest statement, a true statement, said so nonchalantly, without shame as if he really couldn’t be arsed. Producing a performance like this, volunteering ignorance of cause, being so blasé about it is grounds for termination right now ... why wait for the losses to pile up.

Think you misquoted him there Yankee, it was "UM I honestly don't know" ,of that 4 min. interview he probably spoke for 2.5 mins. in that time UM came out 33 times. just about every three or four words.
I think um its time um for him to um call it a day and um admit um I failed, and um follow his um chairman who foolishly um give him this job.
Looked this up. Dictionary definition.
UM is defined as something you say to pause a conversation, or to show your not sure.
An example of UM is what you might say when a reporter asks you a question you're not sure you want to answer.

Wouldn't be the first time this has happened in football, is a performance like this a player revolt to out the manager, who they see as someone who isn't enhancing their career. A blatant case of this was with Brian Clough at Leeds, orchestrated by Bremner, although for different reasons, but it worked.
South Wales used to be Black & White, get him out, and lets get that back.

You have to give Cardiff credit for one thing, they were also in the market for a manager at the time, he was one of their own, but they had the common sense to pass on him. Bet they're really glad they did now.

The star of the lo’Lights is our one and only Woody No-Balls No-Brains.

on the first goal he has no command of his 6-yard box and no-balls to stop the goal. He actually turns away from the “shot” if you could actually call the fumble to direct the ball towards the goal a shot.

On the second goal, if he didn’t have shit for brains he wouldn’t have any brains at all. If he’d come anywhere close to the Newport player on that crazy dash 20 yards out of his box, sliding in with studs up, he would have been done for a straight red. All with two defenders sprinting back and well on a path to interceding with the forward.

once again we are placed in the unethical position of wishing for injury or suspension to save us. Remember that our playoff push last season only really got traction when Woody was injured and Mulder started in goal. Up to that point we were being done by the likes of Luton.

Andy Pandy does not honestly know why things are so bad .... start by looking at Woody, then if you’re not interested in Benda because he’s not your boy, watch Tate play in goal in training. What Tate lacks in technique he more than compensates with brains and balls. Time for a Tate come back ... seems utter nonsense, should be utter nonsense, but in reality not so much.

The only thing that stands between us and a pasting at Preston is player pride ... will they collectively play for their own pride or pack it in.
