no , not a who done it but our last league game of the season .
I hope we put out a strong team and finish on a high by doing the double over promoted Watford.
We need the win to boost confidence and add momentum prior to the play off games to come.
I would like to see us revert to 3 at the back and attack, attack, attack !
My suspicion is that Cooper will look to defend and not lose rather than go gung ho for a win .

Remember its an early kick off 12.30 pm.

@The Blobster ... I fear that your suspicion will come true. 3+2 is, has been, our best approach to games. For the playoffs, we need to be a fortress in our back third. We need to be solid in the middle third - Grimes and Fulton. We can then leverage width through our marauding wing backs and let Ayew and Lowe and one other - please god not Mr. Invisible - do the damage up front. I'd be happy to see Smith alongside Grimes and Fulton ... or Routs in front of Grimes and Fulton ... or even Dhanda providing he's ready muck in and get physical to the extent he can.

Question: is it better to play away in the first leg, shut up shop, and bring a tie or an away goal home for the second leg; or play home first.

With 3+2, I'm favoring playing away then home. It puts the onus on the opposition. Use the 3+2 to challenge the opposition who would be inclined to attack at home and we have enough quality, all be it ad hoc in its expression, to get an away goal when the home team is over eager.

Whilst momentum would be great I have a feeling that we will just go through the motions against Watford in order to avoid injuries. It should be a low-key game in any event as Watford have nothing to play for. Ideally we'll just play on cruise control and get a result anyway.

Stoke 1 up against Bournemouth, Norwich Barnsley 1 -1 that would mean we play Barnsley in play off if result stays the same .
