Life is quite normal out here, other than your not allowed outside your front door without a mask. The only ones who are allowed no masks are babies in prams, if the child can walk then it has to wear a mask. And it would appear to be working well.

Coincidentally there’s a programme on BBC2 tonight about Rockfield Studios which is where I celebrated my 80th with my family. The following week Boris announced lockdown.
