Tuesday night sees us again on our long travels to visit Preston at the iconic Deepdale.
Preston are currently mid table , they don't score many goals but they have one of the best defences in the division.
I think a 0-0 scoreline is about right for this one , or a narrow 1-0 win for one side or the other ,
Let's hope we start with Okoflex instead of Sorinola.

If we can reproduce the best of our Brizzle performance we should win. But if we reproduce the worst we'll probably lose. Agree that it should be a close game and I'm hoping that Piroe will be straining at the leash after his enforced rest. Martin says he's beasting training. Augurs well.

Weaker on defense with Darling instead of Wood. Naughton goes back to CCB role.

Cooper on the bench ... surely not because he needs a rest.

And .... drum role ... Piroe replaces Obafemi ... which puts Cullen in the stands.

Interesting fact for tonight is that Prestons 2 keepers are both ex Swansea players
Freddie Woodman between the sticks and Dai Cornell on the bench .
With Woody in goal let's hope we take plenty of shots as he was useless at saving them for us !

Cornell surely the better keeper than Woody. So ... Woody lasted all of a few weeks as Newcastle's first team stopper last season and now finds himself at Preston - transferred or loaned.

With Woody in goal .... we should absolutely kill them on our set pieces

It's a good enough line up to win, I would have liked to see Cooper again but he and Obafemi can both come on in the second half.
