For our Easter treat we are visited by Coventry , we haven't lost our last 15 fixtures to the sky blues , watch Fisher ruin that stat single-handedly !
Just maybe we can put together a home performance that will give us all some pleasure and feed on the positivity following our Derby victory over our six fingered neighbours.
Coventry are pushing for a top 6 slot and the odds are that Gyokeres will come back to haunt us , as is the usual for all our ex players , not an easy game to predict but I think we will pick up 3 points in an entertaining 2-1 win .

I posted a statistic a week or so ago about Fisher that when he's not keeping a clean sheet he concedes 2 goals a game requiring us to score 3 to win. And, that's exactly what happened against Cardiff. Fisher needs to be sent back to L1. We are not going to get promoted with that level of handicap - no team can.

@The Blobster ... I think a safer bet, since you're expecting them to score a goal, is to expect a 3-2 win or a 2-2 draw, or a 1-2 defeat.

At this point in the season, since we own Søndergaard, we should play him and find out what he's all about. Even one game would show us whether he has the technical tools and the ability to control his box. What have we got to lose.

We rarely dominate Coventry. I’m surprised we’re unbeaten in 15, there must be a fair number of draws.

Put me down for a brace from Gyokeres, with full on celebrations, but we will still win, scoring 4 or 5. No hat tricks but goals for Cullen and Piroe topped with a worldie from Walsh. 🤞

Martin should already know something from his performances in training and 'Unders' games! Is he that bad that he can't be considered better than Fisher? If he is then why the hell did we buy him? But, unfortunately, given Martin's penchant for playing his pets even though we have better players in the squad, we're not likely to see Sondergaard anytime soon.

As for the game, Coventry can be a decent team but blow hot and cold so a prediction is like the toss of a coin. If we play somewhere near our best, we win. If we don't, we won't. I've just tossed a coin and, with no great conviction, go for a 2-1 win.

Coventry's attacking force is too good for our defenders. They are an excellent counter-attacking team. I expect a defeat, no matter who our goalie is today.

More of the same. Fulton, Allen, Cooper on the bench ... that's a solid midfield right there.

Darling continues at RB. Looks like he is going to be Lati's replacement in this position. So far, so good, but he hasn't been tested by a real winger or marauding WB yet. Thoughts?

Bidwell starts on the bench in favor of Callum Doyle. At least that's 1 former player who won't get an early goal.

Coventry City: Ben Wilson, Callum Doyle, Kyle McFadzean (captain), Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Jamie Allen, Josh Wilson-Esbrand, Ben Sheaf, Luke McNally, Viktor Gyokeres, Josh Eccles, Gustavo Hamer.

Substitutes: Simon Moore, Jonathan Panzo, Tyler Walker, Fankaty Dabo, Matty Godden, Jake Bidwell, Ryan Howley

We were prety solid defensively against Cardiff. Fisher can be blamed for the first goal we conceded, Cabango and Fisher for the second.

Cullen and Piroe are playing on opposites of the field. Why the big gap between them? There’s no way they can work off each other from there
