This is what I mean by a lack of character in the team. No doubt they figure we're safe this season so, instead of going for the throat, they're just phoning it in and only doing what they have to. A proper professional like Michael Laudrup would insist that his team fill their boots against a team with absolutely nothing to play for. But then, ability aside, he had players who had character, who showed attitude, who wanted to win as often as possible. Our lot just want to turn up and go through the motions to collect their pay cheques. I'd get rid of at least half this team by next season and employ some honest professionals.

It's not so bad Ivor. It's just that Rotherham have parked the bus and is difficult to break them down. We have had some good shots on target but unfortunately directly hitting Rotherham keeper. Our attackers have to be more clinical and more accurate. But we completely control the game.

I understand what you say but I get so exasperated when our players aren't even good enough to do the basics properly.
