Naughts and the new wingback still unavailable due to injury but the new central defender may get a start to freshen up our weak defense.

An 18 year old is going to stiffen up our defense ? We just need to play an orthodox setup at the back, but that’s not going to happen. Williams was supposed to be all that and then some, but I just saw a slow, lazy defender out of his depth.

manning is back, so unless Martin drops Bennett or Cabango to the bench and keeps Downes in the defender role, we are going to see Bennett, Cabango, Manning + 2. At this point, it’s anybody’s guess what he’ll actually do. Our missing role is LWB. So more than likely we’ll see Bennett, Downes, Cabango, with Christy and Manning as the wing backs, as Martin is addicted to his nonCB as CCB.
