Luke Williams says the performance at Boro was 'completely unacceptable'. He went on to say that it was lacking in energy and conviction; that we conceded two ridiculous goals; that we showed nowhere near enough for our supporters to be happy with what they saw. And finally he said:

At least we're in agreement. Thing is, what is Luke Williams going to do about it? If it were me I'd beast the buggers in training from now until the end of the season on the basis that I'd make sure they were putting the effort in somewhere. Eventually that might permeate the thick skulls of our bone-idle squad that if they did it on matchdays they might at least earn a win bonus. My next job would be to ensure that those who are not prepared to put in a shift can start looking for another club next season - and there seems to be quite a few of them.
