Boro Away

Boro are going to break their duck today. We have no pace, no urgency, and yet again Fisher makes no attempt to save. Can we please have Benda on at half time.

And now we have to suffer Sorinola on for Congreve. Way to screw with the kid’s head. Meanwhile Piroe is anonymous again.

Did you catch Wyndham saying you've got to block the cross? I don't think Martin can succeed here. Meanwhile Cooper is managing in the Prem

Yet again no shot on target , walking football , no urgency and yet again 2-0 down to a team looking for their first win of the season .
God help us at Stoke in mid week .

45 minutes void of any enterprise, effort and collaboration. Allen the only one working to become available for a pass. Everybody else spectating. Too many anonymous. Grimes, Piroe, Ntcham, obafemi not showing any effort to pick up the tempo, be available, do something other than watch. Boro can defend statues all day.

On the first goal, it wasn’t Congreve who gave the ball away, take a good look at Grimes. Congreve played the ball into space for Grimes to come on to and collect. Grimes stood like a statue and watched and only when the player 5 yards a back of him received the ball and broke forward did he start to jog … startled that he was actually in a game.

Liverpool lead 5:0 against Bournemouth at half time. "Intensity is our identity" is their motto. What's ours? C'mon guys, I want to hear your suggestions. Let's have some fun.

My expectations have come to pass. Despite Boro's lowly position and no wins (so far) I thought they'd have too much for us. They have an experienced manager in Wilder who'll know exactly how to unravel anything Martin attempts. That aside, I get the distinct feeling that our lot have stopped playing for Martin. They've stopped playing for the fans and they've stopped playing for themselves. Where's the pride? The attitude? The energy and work-rate? Non existent!! And only one man is responsible for that!! We now have a manager who's as inept as his bosses. They can all fcuk off as far as I'm concerned and the sooner the better.

Guys, can I please ask that you post Premier League stuff on the 'Other Football' thread. I'm sure that, like me, some of you much prefer to watch MOTD without knowing the scores. :) It does my head in when the Radio Wales commentator continually blabs out the PL scores when BBC telly always warns you to look away during the news before the programme if you don't want to know the results.

It’s been stated clear as day that the Club has no aspiration to be promoted. Supporters go WTF. Likewise … Players go WTF especially those mid-career who realize this is as good as it’s going to get. The result is apathy. Allen is the only player on the field showing any kind of professionalism and desire ,,, he’s bound for the World Cup and has something to drive for.

this is exactly what I opined after Martin’s post match against Luton, being a Factory Club with no aspiration to be excellent and drive for promotion is the kiss of death and can only lead to relegation.

club has to change strategy.
