Just don't know how to fucking defend do we? Comms saying we should have been 6 to 10 yards further out and this has happened time and again this season without Cooper doing a damned thing about it. Hearing that it came from a Wilmot mistake, which should tell Cooper that the best way to defend is to attack, NOT fall back ever deeper and invite teams on, no matter how many defenders you have. Trouble is, under Cooper we've forgotten entirely how to keep the ball and deny opponents possession, which, in turn, forces us to defend. I just wish this man would piss off so we can appoint a proper coach who can restore our DNA. Cooper has had long enough to show that that's a job he cannot do.

We've passed up another golden opportunity to get closer to the promised land in a season when the points required for top 6 will be the lowest in quite some time. Birch and Leon should apologise for the inexperienced fuck-up THEY appointed as manager.

The lack of post match comments speaks for itself, after 4points dropped in the final seconds of the last 2 games , what else is there to say other than get that clown Cooper out of our club and get a manager in, IMO he has never been or ever will be the manager of a successful professional team.
As I stated earlier, Birch is taking him to opposition games, seeminly trying to educate him (probably a bit of a guilt complex) but it looked as if he was talking to a brick wall.

I suppose a point away against a rival for top 6 is a decent enough result and the lads should be congratulated for that: but it was the nature of Blackburn's equaliser that grated. We invited them on because that's all we could do. Previous Swansea teams had the ability to retain possession and deny their opponents the ball to attack us. This team can't do that and it's a major criticism I have of Cooper's methods. Some stats:

POSSESSION: 54-46 SHOTS: 16-9 OT: 5-3 CORNERS: 2-1 FOULS: 17-13 GOALS: 2-2

Note the HUGE deflection that did for us. That was pure bad luck but what was NOT bad luck but bad play, was the fact that we allowed them to put pressure on us and take pot shots at our goal. There's always a chance one of them will go in and one did. Will the lesson be learned? So far it hasn't, so I doubt it will be in the future. And that's bad coaching! Wyndham with his usual unbiased comments!:love:
