Footy is back after the Xmas break , 2000 JBs are on their way to Berkshire to watch us hopefully stuff an experienced Reading team.
Game kicks off at 5.15 pm and is live on sky sports.
I think there will be a few goals in this one and it should be an entertaining game .

We need to play the entire game as we did in the second half against Coventry. If we do we should have a decent chance of three points. The thing is, can we play like that for 90 minutes? I'm hoping we can because we need to break that winless streak pronto!!

Martin is quoted on the Match Center thread as having a selection headache ... I really don't see how that is possible. If he doesn't have a sense of what his strongest XI is by now he never will.

Swansea City: Steven Benda; Nathan Wood, Harry Darling, Ben Cabango; Matty Sorinola, Joe Allen, Matt Grimes (captain), Ryan Manning; Jay Fulton, Ollie Cooper; Joel Piroe.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Jamie Paterson, Luke Cundle, Liam Cullen, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Joel Latibeaudiere, Kyle Naughton

Maybe Martin does pay attention.

3+2 with Wood, Darling, Cabango

Allen starts alongside Grimes. Fulton used further forward (good) with Cooper. Piroe still starts ... he'd need a broken leg for Cullen to be given a chance.

Lati is dropped in preference to Sori

Flex, Cundle, Cullen are on the bench. No place for Ntcham. I thought he was the stronger of him and Paterson against Coventry. Pets prevail

On paper, I have to believe that Allen, Grimes, Cooper and Fulton is our strongest midfield setup by far.

My only other tweak to this line-up is to switch to a back 4, play Flex instead of Darling, play Naughton instead of Sorinola.

This gives us a solid midfield, with Flex in a Sinclair type role up-front, and the experience and ability of Manning and Naughton as FBs.

A win would be really nice. It's hard to be positive with our form lately. We're still competing for a playoff place somehow.
