Strangely there's been little on here about tonight's game, so here goes. We need to buck the odds BIG TIME to get a win, which we need and, being honest, I don't see us doing it. England are superior as a team and have far more talented players. We will have to be at our very best to even stay in the game but we've been nothing like our best so far.

However, that's not to say that we can't win. This competition has been punctuated with shock results and, even though it was many years ago, I well remember an arrogant, over-confident England team turning up at Wrexham where we wiped the floor with them 4-1. What a great day that was!! :D But there's no way that'll happen tonight and I think England are three goals better than us: maybe more if we play as we have been and Page continues to show his lack of tactical nous. Naturally I hope I've got it completely wrong and be cheering an unlikely Welsh win.

@ivoralljack ... we all know what we have to do. It really all comes down to Page's use of Bale and Ramsay as to whether we have a slim chance or no fucking chance at all. I think we all agree that these have demonstrated their worth in the first two games. It's time to look forward, play those that inherit from Bale and Ramsay.

If there's one thing that this tournament has featured - athleticism has trumped supposedly superior tactical/technical. You can run down the list of top sides that have been beaten by supposedly lesser teams and in each case the lesser team has proven to be the fitter, faster, higher tempo unit.

The USA fall into the fitter/faster category and they nullified England. This is the approach we have to take and Bale/Ramsay are broken cogs in that approach. If we play younger players in their stead we'll not lose much technically (especially from Ramsay) and we'll gain a yard and second here and there to make the difference. Allen should start with Wilson in midfield. Allen is good for a solid 45, perhaps 60. Moore, James and Johnson up top and Williams, Roberts, Davies and Rodon at the back.

It seems like every pundit is writing Wales off. A USA and Iranian draw is quite likely. It would take a lot of luck for Wales to beat England but strange things happen in football. I think the referee is from Slovenia.

So not only are we going with 3 players in their mid 30s, but we've dropped one of our most athletic players in Connor. I don't understand this ... nothing has been learned from our matches or those of other countries.

The Slovenian has had some controversy in his career. Slavko Vincic has worked Euros and Champions League matches. Giving Argentina a questionable penalty against Saudi Arabia and allowing Atletico Madrid to time waste in the CL against Man U. Hopefully it will be Wales doing the time wasting tonight.

England have beefed up their midfield with Henderson and added Foden and Rashfoes to the forward line. It’s going to be tough
