What we missed!!

Thanks to the gormless twats who run our football club we missed out on a player who could have made such a difference for us. And he wanted to come. So long as we have people who, in my opinion are brain dead about football, in charge at the top, we'll never see the top flight again. We have a great manager who's trying his best but even he can't perform with his hands tied behind his back because of the constraints put on him by people who are too stupid to know better. Or are they? Read this article in WOL and weep.

The more I think about this the angrier I get. K&L said that the reason they didn't buy Woods was that they didn't consider him to be a good fit for the team. They WHAT??!! Just what the fuck do those two know about football? They haven't got a clue is the short answer and they take advice from someone whose reputation as a DoF has been shot to pieces by one brainless signing after another. A man whose credibility is ZERO.

Graham Potter and his team had identified Woods as a player vital to our progress. Now he is a PROPER football man yet the collective morons who run our club chose to over-ride his decision. In other words, they seem to think that they know more about football than Graham Potter. If that's the case, why are we wasting money on Potter's salary?

But we all know that they trotted out YET ANOTHER LIE. Even they can't be stupid enough to think that they know better than their manager. The truth is that they never, ever, intended to buy Woods because they weren't prepared to ANY pay money in the first place. Even if Brentford hadn't held out for the extra £500k we wouldn't have seen Woods in our colours. This was a smoke and mirrors exercise designed to keep the supporters and the Trust quiet until the transfer window had closed - not that it takes much to keep the Trust quiet. When it comes to representing our interests by challenging the motives of the owners, they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act!!! A more impotent and useless organisation it would be difficult to find. They seem to be as devious as the owners and, if not devious, then totally gutless.

Let's face it, because of the Idiot's duplicity we, as fans, can in no way challenge the owners. They are bomb proof. We can rant and rave (as I am doing now) as much as we like but there's not a thing that we can do. They'll just laugh at us as they always seem to be doing. Our only recourse is to pressure the Trust to get the details of the takeover deal out in the public domain, so that its validity can be scrutinised and challenged - if there are grounds to do so. I have serious doubts about the legality of that deal and I feel that is the Achilles Heel of the rotten bunch that are asset stripping our club and driving it into oblivion.

Chanting Jenkins out and waving cards at games will do sod all to shift them. He doesn't give a toss about that. He'll just give an inward chuckle and go home and count his money, along with his cohorts. The ONLY way to get this bunch of charlatans to sit up and take notice, is to haul their sorry arses into a Court of Law and get them to explain there why they negotiated a clandestine, possibly illegal, deal designed to exclude the Trust and feather their own nests at the fans' expense. I think the result of such an action would finish K&L, Jenkins, Morgan, Dineen et al with football in this country once and for all and expose them for the lying cheats that, imo, they all are.

So, for me, the answer is not to waste our time attacking the board. WE MUST PRESSURE THE TRUST TO DAMN WELL START DOING ITS JOB!! And, if they don't, demand to know WHY NOT?

I've put off renewing my trust sub but I'm going to now so that I can have my five pennorth, £10 actually.
It will also stick in my craw if Steven Caulker signs for one of our competitors.
No, wait a minute, we don't need him, we've already got a centre back.

This is the critical thing. Now that the original driving-while-asleep guy is back as the chairman of the Trust, what will happen, when and more importantly .... why not.

@ivoralljack I agree with everything you wrote, but the Trust is doing some positive things right now. They have started the legal process, though the whole thing is not in the court yet. And being a lawyer myself I can assure you that it takes time.
There has been over two years of time since the sale closed and they've dithering around with shall we or shan't we since then. They knew months ago that this was where they were going to end up.

There’s no rush though as long as they stay within statute and I guess it must be a long painful drag for Laverne & Shirley - the wheels of the law do turn slowly notch by notch - especially when it’s a committe that’s calling the shots on whether to press ahead or not..........and even after all is said and done it could still not go in the favour of the Trust - but at least they haven’t lain down and let the consortium and the sell-outs roll over them

Totally agree. They should have initiated the legal process immediately after the takeover. I remember we discussed Fraud on minority two years ago at thejack.army.
