Considering the mess the squad had to deal with - logistics, COVID, injuries - this was an excellent result. Another win on Wed would keep us on track. The depleted squad has done well.
Yes, we did well to win but I reckon it was fortunate. Belarus showed more strength, more technique and seemed to have a better gameplan than we did. They could easily have been 2 or 3 goals up at halftime. That said, we had a depleted side as Yankee said and a brutal trip out there. So under the circumstances, it was a well done to the lads.
