Its looking likely we'll be facing a managerless West Brom. prime candidates for the post are Tony Pulis & Tim Sherwood. Pulis has stated he would only take the job providing he had 100% control of signings, an agreement he couldn't reach with Palace and his reason for leaving.
If we play with the same enthusiasm and high press plan, but for a full 90 mins. as the Norwich game, I think we can pull this one off. If they've looked at that game I think they'll look at us defensively , concentrating on our wide play.

We had to play a man short on the team sheet against Norwich because of McB's late illness. What condition are we going to be in tomorrow and then again on Saturday against City.

McB not available tomorrow Dan James will lead the line.

Yes, a bit of a dire situation Yankee, certainly cant afford any injuries tomorrow.

That is the trouble with a paper thin squad.
Our reserve striker is not good enough for a first team place , only 15 min cameos.
Thank you Huw thank you yanks.
That's the level Jenkins has dragged us down to, we can't even afford a bench.

After watching Nordy the last two games, I am not impressed with him at all. I don't understand why he is now preferred over the other guy ... whose name I can't even remember at the moment ... shows how underwhelming some of these players are.

As JF said, if we can perform as we did against Norwich I see no reason why we can't win this. But we are rarely consistent. Trouble is I can see us conserving energy to prevent a rout against Citeh........

Do we really need to conserve energy when there are just about 70 hours between games. I know exactly where your coming from Ivor, as the general consensus is one game a week. But don't you think with modern training facilities, correct energy level diets etc. is a far cry from when you and I played the game.

Same as at Norwich. If the players avoid injury and recover well, this is going to be our side against City .... but I really hope Mulder starts against City.

We've created some good chances, hit the post then ship an easy one as we do. As for that penalty, it was a joke, nothing more to say. But we fall foul of the referee (English) yet again. He had to award the penalty but chickened out of showing the red card as he was obliged to do. My commentator was astounded and went on about it at length including more comments during the HT break. Don't anyone EVER try to tell me that officials are unbiased.

That said, the lads have been playing well and deserve a far better scoreline than they've got. Maybe second half.
