This week's selections

How are you doing in predict addict ?

Pretty damned useless actually. I'm in 5th spot, four points off 4th. Mind you, that's not so bad considering I lost the equivalent of 2 and a bit weeks. Needless to say, Blobs is quite happy with how he's doing. :ROFLMAO:

Time for the famed Alf Tupper sprint finish!

Alf Tupper? Now that's a rave from the grave. Was he an athlete in a comic such as Tiger or Lion? I can remember Biff Bailey (boxer) and good old Rockfist Rogan (pilot), Fabulous names! :D Anyone else got any offerings? Harris Tweed from the Eagle to kick you off.

Alf Tupper was the tough of the track.
Roy Race. Best footballer ever lol

My role models were Alf Tupper, day working at factory, fish and chip supper then break the mile record - Hotspur, I think. And Wilson, superb athlete, lived on his own, and performed unlikely feats like jumping a fifty foot chasm to rescue someone. The publication was called Adventure, maybe. Dan Dare and The Mekon spoiled all that - too many pictures. Though I do remember we all spent weeks trying to make as many words as possible from some phrase to win a major prize. A group effort (frowned on by 7OTB, but I have my suspicions!).

14/1 for the six and forty something for the full house. I'm banking on a good team effort to win the weekly comp.
it's that time in the season when you just have to pick the sides that are up for it and avoid the flip flop merchants.

Some decent scores this week but two no-shows unfortunately. I just pipped @Borini who notched a good 21 points, by a single point. Swans let him down for a full house!! My lead is now 25 points, which will take some catching but still possible.
