When Martin left MKD they were in 13th position. His successor then took them up to finish the season in 3rd spot. There's a lesson there surely. Martin's footballing philosophy is fine but just needs fine tuning to get that little extra which is so vital to achieve success. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Martin can go so far but no further and his groundwork needs building on by someone who is capable.
Walsh says that Martin won't sub (his pet) Piroe because he regards him as #1 striker no matter how poorly he performs.
