Brilliant effort for a seasoned player let alone one so young. And the way she's winning is a revelation - she's just blasting them off the court.

She couples technical ability with resilience in the face of adversity. She won a slam without dropping set, not in qualifying, not in the the tournament proper. She finds herself a few points down in her serve, no problem, she gets back to deuce. She has her seve broken, she brakes back. She can serve out side on both sides of the court. She fights physically driven power with technically driven power.
now she faces the full onslaught of the touring professional. It has taken a toll on many a top player. Let’s see if her team are up to the challenge of insulating her from that and letting her mature into it.
