The result today is a disgrace and it's been coming. That's three losses on the bounce which shows that rival teams and managers have worked us out. And worked Russell Martin out. They allow us to play with the ball while we pass it about aimlessly and wait for the guaranteed moment(s) when our defence/midfield cocks it up and lets them in for one or more goals. Meantime, they don't have to worry about our attack because, in terms of potency, it's non-existent. Most of the time they only have to worry about one striker because our support players, WBs or midfielders, don't support for whatever reason. Either they are too stupid to read the game or too tired to get up and back. Martin has said several times recently that they've been showing signs of fatigue. Poor souls!! Perhaps all that aimless passing has tired them out rather than their opponents who have all the time in the world to shuffle about whilst we painfully crab in the general direction of their goal.
Athletes we ain't got. Pace we ain't got. Physicality we ain't got. Will someone kindly let me know what the fcuk we DO have? Oh, just remembered, we have a natural striker on the bench who lives to score goals but rarely gets a proper chance to show it. We are so well off for strikers he'll be off on loan in the New Year.
