Steve Cooper brings his Forest team to the Liberty ,Hmmm!! Swansea. Com Stadium, his first visit back since leaving the club. lets hope we can make it a memorable occasion for him for all the wrong reasons. He's done quite well with them, getting them out of the relegation zone and now even a point above us in the league table. I hope Martin sees this game as he has something to prove.
I've always considered Forest to be good formidable opposition, think we well may be looking at a draw.

As our ex-manager said, Forest are a big club. They are inextricably woven into the folk lore at our club. Usually we get the better of them. May today be another example.

This will be a hard game. It's about time that RM gave a rocket to his team and demand that they start translating possession into chances. AND THEN TAKING THEM!! This is too tight to call for me. If we fanny around playing pointless passes just to build our stats then we won't get anything. The team needs to be reminded that goals win matches and that goals are scored from frequent and accurate shots.

That's probably all we can hope for. I've lost my faith in Martin and the squad.

These are some of the questions I can't find the answer for.

Why do we have so many defenders in the starting XI?

How many months does Ntcham need to get match fit?

Is there only one formation in football?

Etc., etc.

Martin has bottled it. Abandons 3 at the back. Unless he’s playing yet another player out of position and dropped a midfield player into Naughton’s role, it’s 4-3-3 or some variant but 4 at the back. Laird and Manning are now going to have to show their defensive chops.

I would have played Bidwell instead of Manning.

It's better than having Rhys start.
Cooper should be the automatic replacement for Naughton in that role.

We are going to be playing too narrow today. We don’t have natural width up top. If the FBs are going to be sprinting down the touch line then Downes (most likely) is going to be dropping into the Naughton slot.

Great move say the comms but came to nothing because THERE WERE TOO FEW BODIES IN THE BOX. How the fcuk does this team expect to score if no bugger is attacking???????????????
