Swans vs Forest

Houghton had his team well organized and working their butts off pressing .... but, they are going to be the best of the rest in this regard. We worked the problem. Our ever creative WBs won the day, Bidwell crossing a peach for Roberts to attack. This is how it’s going to be.

a bit tedious to watch as far as entertainment goes, but to hell with it, a win, 3 points, +1 on the GD, and another shut out. And we still have 2 games in hand.

Onwards and upwards.

The middle of the table is crowded like a bucket of crabs. From 7th all the way down to QPR who also have games in hand like us. Still the distance between 6th and 7th is 6 points and Bournemouth won't give it up that easily. They have a very good squad and I think they'll manage. Reading have been surprising. I don't see any of them dropping out but it is the Championship with lots of games left!

I'll take the three points all day long but we did not deserve it. We were way off tonight in thought and deed and need to rediscover much better form if we are to maintain our challenge. Great header from Connor to replicate the one he got against Forest at theirs. That's 6 points he earned us and he was certainly one tonight who came out of the game with credit.

I don't know why, but we play much better when we play every three days. Every time after the international break, or like this time when the last time we played a league match was twelve days ago, we don't perform well.

Roberts has been great this season. That Norwich Brentford match is huge for them and us.

Brentford's last 4 matches Cardiff, Bournemouth, Watford and Bristol. They also have to face Norwich.

Swans last 4: QPR, Reading, Derby, Watford.

Norwich last 5: Bournemouth, Watford, QPR, Reading, Barnsley.

I just hope we have our spot sorted out before Watford.
