Great win, though I don't like how we played in the last 15 minutes. We are better than that. Cooper could and should have made some changes and brought in some fresh legs to pass the ball around. We allowed some unnecessary pressure from poor Watford.

Well deserved win, Corey Smith was fantastic so was our defence . Onwards and upwards, this could be the year we get back to the Premier league. Halfway stage of season and we are in second spot.

There is now a gap between us and 3rd. It’s a sliver of a gap, but that’s how they all start. First game back after the cup, we have to drive forward and keep gathering points as every club goes into the dog days of the season and deals with injuries and suspensions to key players. And, if Norwich hits a bump or two in the road to scramble above them. We need to start throwing elbows and kicking shins not to let any points drop.

As for Lowe ... do we rest him against Stevenage or keep the gold streak going.

Bournemouth have a game in hand on us so could go 1 point above us if they win that game.
I would bench Lowe and Ayew next week and play Cullen and Palmer up front.
