Swans v. Preston

Roberts is having to stay home as a FB not a WB. Playing in front of him is Whittaker - not dis iplimed or coordinates with Roberts defensively.

Lowe is the “experienced” forward who has been the least impactful. He has a leadership role that’s been non-existent. Not much worse than Ayew, nor Whittaker, but at least Whittaker has been the more positive. It comes down to who do we substitute to get control of the midfield and put a better front foot into that part of our game. We cant substitute a defender we only have four on the field. Hourihane is the weakest of the weak links, he has to go first.

It's like watching a team of strangers play. I don't recognise what it is they're trying to do, what style, what anything. Cooper and his assistant coaches have managed to eradicate any vestige of the passing, possession game we were once known for. As CJ has said, too many of our players are totally anonymous, just going through the motions and making no impact at all. A manager of any strength wouldn't allow it.
Cooper has now got them playing the only way he knows how. Schoolboy football.

Our best bet is to do what the Welsh rugby team once did at a world cup, which was to ignore the coaches's game plan and play what they saw in front of them. If Cooper has a game plan I'm guessing from what I'm looking at that no one has got a scooby as to what it is.

You play as you practice. How can you possibly do anything but. This speaks to how we must practice, which has to be pretty lame.

Why doesn't that idiot Cooper make his changes NOW? We've threatened fuck all for 80 minutes.
