Swans v. Preston

Their 44 was given the freedom of Swansea to get off his shot. Preston easily the better and more dangerous side so far but what's Cooper going to do about it? That's if he's able, which I doubt.

Preston are applying the same tactics other clever managers have used against us. When we have the ball they are man-marking us all over the pitch and force us to make sloppy passes. When they have the ball they can do whatever they want because we are not pressing them at all. Mostly, they hoof it and use their physicality to win the ball in our half.

Many of our players have been poor and shaky and we are not moving on and off the ball enough. When we have the ball we don't run with it and always try to pass it to players who are under pressure.

I can't accept any more that continuous scapegoating of Lowe. Ayew and Whittaker have been as poor as Lowe. What have they done to deserve staying on the pitch? Same with Fulton and Hourihane. Roberts is invisible as well.

Ayew, Whittaker, Fulton and Hourihane have been poor, and Lowe is one of our better rated players.

It's like watching a team of strangers play. I don't recognise what it is they're trying to do, what style, what anything. Cooper and his assistant coaches have managed to eradicate any vestige of the passing, possession game we were once known for. As CJ has said, too many of our players are totally anonymous, just going through the motions and making no impact at all. A manager of any strength wouldn't allow it.
