A real pleasant surprise for me is Ryan Bennett - he looks a much more skillful player than last season and I love the way he readily gets up the field. Kudos to RM for what he's done with this player.

As I said at the time of my posting they were 3-0 down and in the bottom 3. they then went on to score 3 and gain a point which got them back out.
At the time Hull were above them on GD.

Bidwell's goal just demonstrates the engine he has to cover the ground and get into that position. Terrific work rate and commitment to be there.

A nice day out for a crowd of 16.6k. As Posh elected to play “the wrong way round” we in the South Stand had all the goals at our end. I think Ferguson reckoned there was an edge to attack with the sun dazzling our defenders. The sun obliged but the attackers didn’t.
I was particularly impressed the fluidity of the team. All defenders were willing to get forward.

The first touch of the ball Pete had in the match was the restart from Bidwell’s goal.

Would have liked more goals but pleased that Cornell pulled off a couple of tidy saves. He might have had family/friends at the game and it wouldn't have been nice for him to concede an avalanche of goals in front of them. Decent performance by him given the disparity in the performance of the teams.

From the little I saw in the highlights it was a stroll in the park but I must confess that one day soon I'd love to see us gave some team a real tonking - 5, 6 or even 7 will do thank you. Meantime, congratulations to RM and his team for an excellent display and let's hope that will now become the norm. Some stats:
