Swans v. Middlesbrough

A tough game, but we can beat them. So far we have won all games when it was me who created the match threads here :) . Long may it continue 🤞.

This is their expected line-up and formation. I added number of goals and assists for each player. Johnson, Tavernier, McNair and Saville have 11 goals and 17 assists between them.

Another banana skin today. It's a game we should win but one in which we'll lose points if we continue to make the stupid mistakes we have been. As I speak Watford are one up against Forest and probably will pick up 3 points today. We have to win to keep pace with them. Whilst draws keep us ticking over, they're only good enough to earn us a play-off position. We need wins to keep us on track for automatic promotion.

However, we'll only get those vital wins if Cooper ensures his team plays with more care and a LOT more urgency. We are too slow in transition which is why we don't score more goals. We take so much time to get upfield defenders have got themselves organised to deal with what we offer. Like Warnock or not, he's a wily, seasoned manager who knows the game. He'll have done his homework and will have a game plan to at least make it difficult for us.

Boro' are well in with a chance of the play-offs themselves, so we can expect stiff opposition today. Play at our best (first half against Bristol comes to mind) and we should win but you can be sure that any weakness we show will be exploited by useful opponents. 1-0 or 2-1 for me providing WE TURN UP!!

Lowe dropped for Hourihane. Lowe needs a break so that's good news; will be interesting to see how we work ourselves up top.

Manning is also a good shout, I think he's a better player overall than Bidwell; he's just a tad more versatile than Bidwell. A good midfield today as well with Smith and Fulton covering the defence so I'm slightly optimistic heading into this one.

Manning starts after his impressive performance midweek.

the shock of the day ... Lowe And Behold. Hourihane starts over Lowe .... or is it Smith that does that 🤷🏻‍♂️. Anyway @CroJack has to come up with a new chart.

Looks like Grimes is hanging deep and the other three are flexing forward and back as situations dictate. Like a 3 amigos thing.
