Swans V Coventry

We have to capitalise on this game, and our games in hand, difficult to know what to expect after that Huddersfield display. If Cooper can't do it then someone needs to go into that dressing room and give them a Fergie type ass kicking.

If we win all of our games I hand, as do others, we would be comfortably placed in 2nd behind Norwich. This is not a game in hand, but victory is crucial to keep pace. Norwich are a shining example of how to have a rough spot, then shake it off, and keep on trucking. Something to emulate.

Talk is cheap, nothing needs to be said, just get it done on the field.

I doubt the starting lineup will change, other than a 3 into 2 shuffle with Bennett, Cabango, and Naughton. Although, might we not see a swap between Lowe and Whittaker. Lowe is off the boil. He doesn’t exactly have chemistry with Ayew that I can tell, so playing Whittaker can’t exactly have a negative impact.

Earlier kick-off at 7.00 pm and the game is on the red button on Sky Sports. I cursed initially because I'd already bought the stream before reading it was on Sky. But calmed down when I realised that my Sky bolt-on won't allow me to use the red button anyway. :) Far nicer to watch it on the big screen though. Mind you, don't care what size screen it is so long as we win!!

Will we win? Not sure because we're playing shite right now whichever way you cut it. And Coventry looked pretty useful when they beat Brentford recently. It was a deserved win too and they matched Brentford all over the park showing a huge amount of fight and commitment to earn their three points. If we don't match their effort and attitude then we're going the same way as the Bees.

Cooper needs to fire up his charges and get them playing as though they care about the result because in recent games it looked like they didn't give a toss. This is down to character and attitude. If we get those things right we'll win but if we don't we'll be lucky to get a draw. I'm sitting on the fence on this one as we were that bad in our last two outings. Replicate those performances and we'll get sod all from this game.

On the positive side, mid-week game, limited opportunity for Andy Pandy to coach. Work on the field is going to be standard drills run by the likes of Tate et al. <ducking>

Bennett is out injured. Naughton is ahead of Lati. Cabango leads the defensive 3

Dhanda replaces Fulton!?!

Lowe survives to start again.

Ol' Vik is a sub against us.

Naughton, Guehi, Grimes, Hourihane, Bidwell and Lowe should've been benched as a punishment for their 'performance' against Huddersfield.

My team: 4-2-3-1

Hamer
Roberts - Latibeaudiere - Cabango - Manning
Fulton - Smith
Arriola - Dhanda - Whittaker
Ayew

Have either side had a shot at goal yet ?

Yet another boring match , need some individual skill to liven things up .

Just a continuation of the dross they've been serving up lately. No urgency, no fluency, nothing that resembles a team pushing/wanting promotion. They could try passing the ball. Passing? What's that? I hear you ask. Something our previous teams used to do in their sleep but not under this manager!

Lowe is taking the night off. Either that or he's so thick he hasn't got the faintest idea of the movement a striker should be making. :(

He needs to sit for a match or 2 and hopefully find his legs again. Don't like the slow play tonight, watch us concede first until we increase the tempo.
