Seems to me that so far our performances have been feast or famine.

Sheffield United - GOOD
PNE - Good first half CRAP second half.
Birmingham City - CRAP
Leeds United - GOOD
Bristol City - CRAP
Millwall - GOOD
Forest - CRAP
Stoke City - OKAY
Middlesborough - OKAY

It's all peaks and troughs isn't it? At least our last two results showed consistency even though we only got one point and NO goals. I appreciate that mainly due to injury, Potts has had to make do and mend with his team selections and tactics, so bearing that in mind, we aren't doing too badly. I suspect that once he has more or less a full squad to choose from, our results will become more consistent and we can actually have a realistic chance to challenge for the top spots.

BUT we have to be aware that a crap performance against QPR will see us firmly embedded in the bottom half of the table and we don't want that!! So, come on, lads, let's see an energetic performance on Saturday and THREE valuable points. :)

Key Player
At the end of the transfer window we feared the worst, with the hedge funders leaving us with a threadbare and inexperienced squad.
With the skills of the manager and how he has motivated the players we are doing better than expected, despite bad luck with injuries.
We are still on a knife edge with virtually no back up in certain positions and we have to hope that we do not get any more injuries.
The refereeing needs to improve. The PL was bad but EFL officials are a lot worse.
Goals, and the creation of, are a problem. GP has realised this and is working on it.
Defence has been a pleasant surprise.
Let’s see how it pans out.
