It will also be interesting to see Andy Pandy's setup and where players on thin ground - the likes of Garrick, Byers and Dhanda - appear in the game. It's put up or go home for these two. Similarly, where is Bennet in all this, an old horse, not particularly strong, aging, and surely Cabango and Lati would have matured to the point of pushing him to one side.

Poor start but it's preseason action I suppose. Frustrating to see lack of creativity and passing back in our own half. We need to settle this Cooper thing before the season.

Hurry up and get back, Cabango! Bennett left for dead by his man and got booked for a shirt pull. I know it's warm and it's just a friendly but it would be good to see the lads up their pace to a jog.

Curt just said we're lazy, sloppy and lethargic after Argyle nearly scored, hitting the post. If Curt is critical you can believe that we are poor!!

Bit of a waste of time for me - I don't see what 90 minutes walking does for a team. But I suppose it's a workout, of sorts, although nothing more than that. Thought Liam Walsh had a decent cameo; tidy on the ball and he can pass it. Let's see if there's some improvement against Bristol Rovers.

Curt was distinctly diplomatically underwhelmed in the shape of the squad. Not a lot of pride in that performance. We should have been banging on their goal regularly and there was nothing much happening.

The younger players that came on acquitted themselves well. Walsh was lively.
