Slightly better game second half with more pace to it. Bit harsh to red card an innocuous pull back with both players at it.

Very slow start, 2 good goals gave them some life. It's good to see something from Dhanda. He should be given a chance to start. No injuries, strange sending off for the penalty. We're getting closer to the season without a coach and still in need of signings. I wanted more from Piroe. Southampton is going to be a more telling match.

Jordon Garrick (hamstring), George Byers (groin) and Ollie Cooper (ankle) were all assessed before the game. Obviously only Ollie was fit enough.

I was impressed by the sharpness and movement of some of the younger players in the last 30 minutes of the match. Lloyd and Dan Williams (#12 ?) in particular. This is against Forest Green - no-disrespect - but I would hope they would look good. It's a shame the other players didn't play with the same level of flare and application.
Cullen looked lively and had an assist. Trunds another who reckons he's the most natural goalscorer we've got. He needs to start games and he needs a run of games. Strikers don't get any better playing in fits and starts. But I was also encouraged by the youngsters who came on because they showed up well.
