Went for dinner at LadyGG's yesterday had roast chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes, cabbage, peas carrots, swede and mange tout with yorkies and gravy. As ever I was last to finish because LadyGG thinks she's feeding the 5,000 when she piles my plate. :D Gave me six of her chicken's eggs to take home as well.

I was speaking to her and her mum, also an ardent fan, who both opined that they saw nothing whatsoever in the Luton v Coventry final that the Swans couldn't have comfortably beaten at their best. Certainly, had we reproduced the form we showed in the last few games, we would have won easing up. Let's hope that we appoint a manager who'll get us there next year. There's enough decent material to work with.

In case you didn't know the West Ham v Fiorentina game is live on You Tube. Sub-titles are a gas - Declan Rice came up as 'deck and rice'. Tasty!

The sub-titles were brilliant. Fornals was Four Owls; Bowen was Boeing then Boring and too many other howlers to mention. David Moyes became David Mortgage for some reason and, at one stage, a pack of dogs was mentioned even though the comms said nothing like it. Hilarious!!

Citeh got their hands full with Inter tonight. Lots of possession but only a shot or two on target. Inter defending well but do look dangerous on the break, They're no mugs for sure and capable of springing a shock. Hope not!!

Well Citeh won but it was a lot harder than anyone envisaged. Ederson made two great saves to keep them in front but overall I think Citeh just about deserved it. They weren't at their imperious best but, like all great teams, they found a way to win despite losing De Bruyne to injury. Well done to them and especially Pep for whom I'm delighted.

John Hollins passed earlier this week Former Chelsea player and boss Hollins dies at 76

Part of the great Chelsea team under Dave Sexton in the late 60s and early 70s. Who can forget the epic FA Cup final against Leeds in 1970 (if you ever wondered what @ivoralljack and I are talking about when we mention the character known as Ducks, watch some of the tackles that happened in this conflict). And, of course, Hollins was a one time successful manager of the Swans … we seem to attract high profile people decade after decade.

Actually, that final was pretty low key in terms of physicality by Ducks' standards. That final was a battle. Ducks' currency was war. :ROFLMAO:

Watching Wales v Armenia - watching eleven players in red posing as international footballers losing 1-2 to Armenia who've LOST NINE of their last ten competitive games!!!!!!!!!!!! We haven't got a clue tactically and Armenia strolled through our defence at will. Who the fuck set this team up? Robert 'Genius' Page is who. Yet again he's showing his lower league limitations as we struggle to beat a lowly team who, incidentally, look technically miles better than our lot of leaden-footed plodders. And the worst plodder of all has been Aaron Ramsey who should get the hell out of the Wales set-up as soon as possible. He poses well but does very little, particularly when it comes to helping plug the gaping holes in midfield when we're under pressure.

Too many men in red are just phoning this in. Someone needs to put a rocket up their arses at half time. Page? Not on your life, he hasn't got a clue.

So Wales lost to the mighty Armenia 2-4 who've only won 2 of their previous 20 and ranked #97 by FIFA. This was a performance of disgraceful proportions preside over by Robert Page and compounded by some truly awful displays by so-called international footballers.

Armenia deserved it; they were the better team, fitter, technically way better than us and they wanted it more. Some of our players have gone backwards at a rate of knots, particularly those on loan such as Rodon and Ampadu. Frankly I wouldn't like to see either at the Swans.

Dan James is a one-trick pony. Deny him space to run and he offers nothing. Ramsey is finished and should never be selected again. At least Bale knew his race was run. Ramsey thinks he still offers something but he couldn't be more wrong and should pack it in now.

As for Morrell, another lower league player who thinks he's better than he is. He tried some fancy stuff, fell over when he was dispossessed and Armenia scored another goal.

But the real culprit is Robert Page. Who on earth in the FAW considered Page, a lower league manager with Port Vale then later sacked by Northampton Town, a suitable person to coach Wales at international level? Frankly I won't bother wasting my time on him. Anyone with any semblance of footballing sense will know that he's just not got the ability to do the job. PERIOD!

The most half hearted , inept , and woeful performance I have ever seen from a Welsh team . Taking Rodon off left the back line exposed to their counter attacks and showed yet another lack of perception from a manager totally out of his depth .

Some stats from this complete farce:

POSSESSION: 56-44 SHOTS: 18-11 OT: 5-4 CORNERS: 2-3 FOULS: 4-8 GOALS: 2-4

I've spent quite some time online and there's been a massive response to this humiliation. Primarily there was a huge response from English supporters laughing their dicks off at the result - and I mean HUGE!! Thank you, Robert Page and your team of incompetents, for making us a laughing stock in the eyes of the football world. Feel good about it do you? Is there any sense of shame or anger about how useless you all were; at how you let us all down? Our rugby has been shaming us and now you're all doing the same!! Well done. NOT!!

Our fans rightfully are raging about this result and the net is inundated with fans screaming, and I mean screaming, for Page's head. He made us the worst team in the World Cup and now he's compounding even that horrific performance. For too long Gareth Bale, and to a much lesser extent Aaron Ramsey, kept him in a job when they salvaged games for us.

Now Bale has gone and Ramsey is performing like a third rate non-league player, Page hasn't got a single idea of how to coax a tune out of the rest of them. That would take a proper coach and he isn't one. Not in his wildest dreams is he one. As for the players, last night only James, Wilson and maybe Johnson (plus Brooks when he came on), looked remotely competent. The rest, and I include the Swansea contingent, were GARBAGE.

We have to beat Turkey away on Monday night to stand the smallest chance of progressing. I doubt we will and I hope that the FAW will act instantly to end Page's terrible tenure as our manager, one that has set us back many years.

Rob Page says Wrexham striker Paul Mullin will be considered for a Wales call-up if he can score regularly in League Two. He forgets that Mullin scored 32 goals for Cambridge in League Two in 2020/21. I understand that there is a huge difference between League Two and the Championship/Premier League, but a striker as prolific as Mullin should be given a chance. Who knows what might happen.
