Is Martin two faced to his players. Benda v Paterson for example.

Benda does his best to implement Martin's madness and gets sent to Siberia. Paterson throws a sulk over a contract extension and refuses to train and Martin is poor-poor-Pato ... Russell Martin hopes for positive resolution on Jamie Paterson | Swansea

Seems we're just reading about the scratching of the surface as to what's been going on with regard to the terms of his contract. Then there's the fact that other clubs have monitored his progress and would be interested; and that's not to mention the possibility of his agent getting involved with the prospect of a cut of whatever materialises. Reading between the lines, the suggestion is that Pato might have mental issues to a certain degree. Whatever, Russell maintains he's working on it and there's no doubt that a fit and firing Paterson is a good asset for us. Time will tell.
